Alphonso Upshaw was born December 24, 1991 ... son of Kathy Upshaw ... three siblings, Phil, Asia and Marwin.

High School Highlights:
Al played at Gamble Montessori under Coach Sheehan ... He was named Team Captain three years in a row, a two time First Team All-League, District 16 All Stars and played in the West/East All Star game.

Freshman Highlights:
(2011) Played in five games for the Saints... had six total tackles.
