Thomas More Falls, 8-1, to Mount St. Joseph in Season Opener

(CINCINNATI, Ohio) - The Thomas More College men's tennis team fell, 8-1, to the College of Mount St. Joseph today (Saturday, March 17, 2012) in its season opener at the Mount Courts in Cincinnati, Ohio.

With the loss, the Saints fall to 0-1 and with the win, the Lions improve to 1-0.

The Saints picked up their lone point at No. 2 singles where freshman Eric Thompson (Edgewood, Ky./Dixie Heights) was a 6-1, 6-7, 8-6 winner.

Thomas More returns to action on Saturday, March 24 when it travels to Hamilton, Ohio to play Miami University-Hamilton at 12 p.m.
