(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.) - Thomas More College has been chosen by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to host the first and second round of the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament March 3 and 4 at the Connor Convocation Center.
Thomas More will be hosting Eureka College, Hope College and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Hope and Wisconsin-Whitewater will play in the first game on Friday and the Saints and Eureka will play in the nightcap, with the two winners playing on Saturday for the right to advance to the sectionals. Game times and ticket information will be announced on Tuesday.
The second-ranked Saints (27-0) earned the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament after winning the PAC Championship Tournament.
The Eureka Red Devils (20-7) won the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) to earn the Conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
The Hope Flying Dutch (22-4) earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament after finishing runner-up in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) regular season.
The Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawks (21-5) earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament after winning the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Tournament.
