Men's and Women's Bowling Competes at Ball State Classic

(MUNCIE, Ind.) – The Thomas More University men's and women's bowling team competed at the Ball State University Cardinal Classic Tournament on September 29 and 30 in Muncie, Indiana.

The men's varsity team finished eighth.  The Saints bowled five blocks of four games each and had a series total of 3,472 for an average of 173.6 on Saturday.  On Sunday, they had a 3,456 total for a 172.8 average and a tournament total of 6,928.

The men's junior varsity team placed fourth.  Thomas had 3,213 on Saturday for an average of 160.65 and a totaled 2,924 on Sunday for a 146.4.  The Saints finished the tournament with a total of 6,137.

The women's team placed sixth at the tournament.  Thomas More bowled five blocks of four games each and had a series total of 3,154 for an average of 157.7 on Saturday.  The Saints had a 6,392 for a 319.6 average on Sunday and a tournament total of 9,546.

The Saints return to action on October 6 and 7 when they compete at the MSC Louisville Classic in Louisville, Kentucky.
